The major project for Honours Degrees and Post Graduate study are contextualised using real life scenarios - or set in conjunction with employers seeking recommendations to an existing problem in their industry. Our students exhibited an innovative idea by delivering an autonomous weighing trolley to ease the travellers at the airports. The idea gained such attention from the authorities that the students were supported to develop and produce this in conjunction with RAK Airport and it was implemented once the final version was thoroughly tested. Our students continue to research and produce excellent quality projects and provide solutions to the organisational issues during their internship or placement opportunity, many go on to be published in Scopus listed journals.
Some of the other notable achievements include Inter college Environmental Public Speaking Competition organized by Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) Dubai, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Securities Exchange Virtual Stock Game Competition. Speak Out for Engineers, Regional and Global winners; Robotics club has provided the students to compete in groups and go on to display their talents at the GCC level in the Robotics Competition winning three consecutive years.
