Dubai: One of the largest hypermarkets in the UAE, Safari Hypermarket and Safari Mall celebrated their first anniversary on September 4 with a cake-cutting ceremony. Safari has been one of the fastest-growing ventures in the UAE that started operations last year and has enjoyed a steady rise as a result of the variety of offers presented to customers every day. Even during Covid-19, these offers have continued uninterrupted.

To celebrate its first anniversary, Safari is giving away Dh5-billion worth of life insurance to customers along with improving its services one step further. At the press meet, members of the management said it had the advantage of providing highest quality products to customers. In addition to the UAE, Safari imports products from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Kenya, Indonesia, Turkey, Thailand, China, Spain, Italy, the UK, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Safari has a vast collection of fruits, vegetables, groceries, cosmetics, household items, kids wear, men's wear, ladies wear, footwear, luggage, stationery, sports items, toys, electronics, home appliances, home and office furniture.

In addition to the daily promotions, Safari runs “Festival Promotions” on branded products, luggage promotions, back-to-school and half-value back offers, 50 per cent offers, “Go Green” and special furniture promotions, among others. Customers can also participate in any of the mega promotions to win 30 Toyota Corolla cars, 1 kilo gold, 15 Toyota Fortuner cars, and even half-a-million dirhams. Through these promotions, 63 people received mega prizes. Safari has also launched a new promotion of a dozen Nissan Sunny cars to coincide with its first anniversary.

Safari also helps to add value to weekend experiences for its customers with musical shows, dance performances, magic shows, children's entertainment and fashion shows. Safari is the first mall in the UAE to host an extensive book fair.

In the occasion of World Teachers' Day Safari organised a teacher’s conference with more than 400 teachers. Almost 100 teachers who completed 25 years of teaching were honored at that event.

On UAE National Day, a canvas created by 48 artists from 10 countries, attracted attention. The hypermarket group also organises carol, cake baking and Christmas tree-making competitions during Christmas. The biggest Onam market was also organized in Safari.

Food lovers love to taste the food dishes prepared by Safari’s bakery and hot food section, including breakfast served at affordable prices. Safari also features a party hall that can accommodate up to a thousand people. Safari ensures safe shopping during the epidemic, including introducing measures, such as sanitisation tunnels.

An insurance plan worth Dh5 billion is being prepared for Safari Loyalty Card members. The management thanks the UAE Government for all its assistance and the customers, staff, suppliers, and media who have supported the group in its journey.
