Bee’ah wins Burj Khalifa waste contract

Five-year deal includes introducing recycling and creating sustainability awareness

Dubai: Emaar has awarded Sharjah-based waste management firm Bee’ah a five-year contract to collect waste and introduce recycling to Burj Khalifa.

In recent months Bee’ah has won several Dubai-based contracts, including Tecom, Media City, Knowledge Village, Tecom, Academic City, Internet City and other selected areas and entities.

Khalid Al Huraimel, Group Chief Executive Officer at Bee’ah, said, “Our long and proud commitment to the community has resulted in our geographic expansion within the UAE; Burj Khalifa represents a significant step forward in the company’s vision as we expand further into Dubai and seek to strengthen our position as environmental leaders in the Middle East.”
