UAE, Saudi Arabia discuss civil aviation cooperation

The two sides discussed ways of strengthening cooperation in the sector

The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and a high-level delegation from the Saudi Arabia headed by Saad Bin Abdul Aziz Al Khaleb, Deputy Minister of Transport, have discussed ways of strengthening cooperation between the UAE and Saudi Arabia in the air transport sector.

The meeting touched on mechanisms of registration and licensing of drones and helipads and the tools of supervision and management by the UAE GCAA. It was chaired by Ismail Mohammad Al Balushi, Assistant General Manager of Aviation Safety Affairs Sector, and Laila Hareb Al Muhairi, the main coordinator of the logistics and infrastructure sector in the UAE.
