Dubai: Marhaba - the airport hospitality brand part of Emirates Group’s dnata – has partnered with Prime Health to offer premium travel services for those arriving in Dubai for medical treatment.

Marhaba will provide its full suite of airport hospitality services, including its popular Meet and Greet, Chauffeur, and Lounge access. Additionally, recently launched services like Check-in Anywhere and Land and Leave will make the journey even smoother, allowing for a hands-free experience from arrival to departure, said Marhaba.

According to an official statement, this collaboration is designed to ensure that medical tourists receive a “warm welcome and exceptional care from the moment they land.”

Dubai welcomed over 691,000 people for medical treatments in 2023, with spending on healthcare services exceeding Dh1.03 billion ($ 280 million).

The emirate has been positioning itself as a leading global destination for medical tourism, combining advanced healthcare with world-class luxury and personalised care.

Jaffar Dawood, dnata’s Divisional Senior Vice President for UAE Airport Operations, said, “With marhaba’s personalised service and Arabian hospitality, twinned with Dubai’s world-class infrastructure, we ensure medical travellers feel looked after from the moment they land. This partnership reflects our shared focus on care, comfort and service excellence.”

Dubai is particularly popular for dentistry, dermatology, cardiology, and fertility treatments, with increasing demand for orthopaedic procedures like joint replacement surgeries and a wide array of cosmetic treatments.

Dr Jamil Ahmed, Founder and Managing Director of PRIME Health, echoed this sentiment: "Our partnership with marhaba ensures international patients receive a warm, stress-free welcome the moment they land. We are redefining the healthcare journey by combining world-class hospitality with trusted medical expertise.”

This partnership highlights Dubai’s strategy to combine advanced healthcare facilities with top-tier luxury and personalised care, ensuring medical tourists experience comfort and support throughout their stay. Prime Health operates medical centres directly within Dubai International Airport’s Terminals 1 and 3.
