Dubai:  With the vacation season winding down for UAE residents, airlines are again offering special deals, promising travel fanatics a chance to save on cash when booking their next getaway.

Budget-savvy flyers can now score air tickets for short-haul flights from UAE for as low as Dh755 or long-haul trips for just over Dh1,000 or Dh2,000.

The affordable fares apply to trips to some of the most favourite destinations among UAE travellers, including India, Pakistan, Philippines, Europe and the Middle East, and they can be booked by customers looking to fly out between today until June next year.

At Emirates airline, return fares of less than Dh1,000 are up for grabs for flights from Dubai to Kuwait, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Mumbai, Delhi, Beirut, Bahrain, Mashad, Karachi, Chennai, Muscat, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Dammam,.

Holidaying abroad is a huge part of life for many UAE residents and according to research, vacation-bound consumers are likely to spend more than Dh29.3 billion on airfares, food, hotel rooms, museum and park tickets by 2020. To limit their outgoings, consumers are advised to always be on the lookout for good deals and compare prices, and now may be a good time to do so. Demand for outbound travel seems to be winding down, with the Eid holidays and summer vacation just over and everyone heading back to work or school.

The special fares are valid for bookings until September 6 and for travel from September 10, 2018 to May 31, 2019.
