Dubai:  Filipino expatriates can save money on peak ticket prices when they travel back home this summer or anytime this year.

UAE-based airline Emirates announced on Monday that it is offering special fares for flights to the Philippines.

Starting today until June 24, flyers can secure economy seats on flights to Manila for as low as Dh2,315. Trips to Cebu and Clark are up for grabs for at least Dh2,425 and Dh2,225, respectively.

For business class travellers, promotional ticket prices for flights to Manila start from Dh9,205 and to Cebu from Dh10,805. For Clark-bound passengers, business class tickets start from Dh10,065.

The special fares are valid for trips until March 2019, the airline confirmed.

The Philippines is one of the major markets for Emirates. In 2016, the airline expanded its operations with the launch of a daily circular service from Dubai to Cebu and Clark.

The service was expected to enhance the Asian country’s trade links with the rest of the world and boost tourism, as well as expand travel options for travellers from the Visayas and Central Luzon areas.
