DUBAI
Dubai-based manufacturer Industrial Group has named Dr Sameer Al Ansari as its new vice-chairman and chief operating officer.
Al Ansari has served on the group’s board for the past 5 years.
Group chairman and CEO Shaikh Hussein A. Al Banawi said, “This key appointment comes at a crucial time for the Group as we set our sights on further geographical expansion and innovation. For the past six decades, The Industrial Group has witnessed year-on-year growth and while the times ahead present new challenges, however, the opportunities remain bountiful.”
The Industrial Group is involved in packaging, speciality chemicals, and food flavours, with operations in the Middle East, Africa and India.
