Accenture to conduct its annual meeting in capital
Coincides with World Future Energy Summit
Abu Dhabi : Accenture, the global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, is to host a gathering of senior energy industry executives in Abu Dhabi on January 18 and 19.
The Accenture Global Energy Board will hold its annual meeting in the city to coincide with the World Future Energy Summit.
The board comprises leaders of the energy industry and energy-intensive sectors, as well as = economic, academic and geopolitical authorities.
Omar Boulos, Managing Director of Accenture Middle East, said: "The energy industry is facing new challenges in exploiting hydrocarbons as well as the need to address climate change.
"Abu Dhabi, an emerging global hub for the development of renewable energy solutions, is an ideal location... to hold our Global Energy Board meeting, which will discuss the future of the sector and the impact of... technologies."
