Abu Dhabi Ports, Agthia sign 25-year deal

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Ports and Agthia Group have signed a lease agreement aimed at expanding the latter’s Grand Mills Flour and Animal Feed facilities at Zayed Port.

The contract between both parties incorporates a 25-year agreement for an 85,700-square-metre plot of land. When fully developed by Agthia, the land will include dedicated bulk grain silos, logistics warehousing, and on-site bagging facilities.

The expansion in capacity will allow Agthia to increase their currency capacity of 930,000 tonnes per annum to 1.5 million tonnes, once fully developed.
