Dubai: A set of seven Rolls-Royces has been specially commissioned to honour the UAE’s Founding Father, late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. And each model marks a particular attribute representing the country.

The project — commissioned by Abu Dhabi Motors and rated the “best bespoke Rolls-Royce dealer worldwide” — will see the models being customised at the Rolls’ plant in Goodwood, England. It will be a year-long process and was conceptualised by Joseph Tayar, Rolls-Royce Brand Manager at Abu Dhabi Motors.

One of the cars — The Wisdom Phantom VII — borrows its inspiration from the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque and features the largest complex embroidery ever crafted by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. It will be made up of more than 390,000 stitches and 800 hours in the making.

There are two Phantom Coupe’s in the collection — inspired by Qasr Al Hosn Fort — the oldest stone building in Abu Dhabi — and the Desert Rose, respectively.

There are two Wraiths in The Wisdom Collection, with one commissioned to portray the essence of falconry — and the second representing the Shaikh Zayed Bridge.
