Abu Dhabi: If you have $600,000 sitting idle in your bank, you can be the proud owner of a BMW car that can transform into a robot in 30 seconds.
The mean machine, called Letrons, will make its global launch during the Big Boys Toys (BBT) exhibition at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec) which kicked off on November 23 and runs until November 26.
Organised by Artaaj Events, the Middle East’s largest luxury, innovations and technology expo is showcasing more than 200 products that represent the ultimate luxury and novelty value this year.
Everything from gadgets and automobiles to handbags and futuristic fashion accessories, the event offers some of the most advanced products from around the globe.
Atif Malik, exhibition director of BBT said the exhibition encompasses all facets of luxury and lifestyle industry, including aviation, marine, drive and ride, wellness, fashion, lifestyle, digital, adventure and off-road industries. “This year, we are featuring products exceeding a net worth of over $200 million,” said Malik.
Visitors can witness a host of headline product launches, including the world’s fastest street legal production bike (MTT 420 RR), one of the world’s most powerful cars boasting fighter jet technology for the first time in automobiles and the smallest and fastest single-engine jet (Flaris).
Other highlights include robotic window cleaner, jelly fish aquarium, 3D printed musical instruments, a boat that resembles a sports car, luxury wrist-wear and semi-submarine penguins that offer underwater rides . The expo also has a section dedicated to women who love luxury. The Woman’s World is showcasing some of the world’s most unique and exclusive products in women’s luxury lifestyle and services, including travel, jewellery, beauty and wellness.
For thrill seekers, the Super Car Test Drive Pit presented by Shell Helix gives visitors the chance to drive some of the most powerful cars in the world.
Like in previous editions, this time too visitors will be able to enjoy interactive experiences, such as virtual reality, simulators, reality games and shooting.
