Sydney: A computer problem delayed more than 60,000 passengers due to fly with Australian budget carrier Jetstar on Saturday, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

It meant check-in staff had use fax machines to process large numbers of people travelled ahead of the Christmas holidays, the paper reported.

“We are working hard to get customers to their destination,” said Jetstar chief executive David Hall. “We recognise it’s a special time of year and people want to be with their families and friends.”
