Palestinian shot by Israeli soldier

Dubai: Israeli occupation troops shot and apprehended a Palestinian near an Israeli colony of Edratin the West Bank after claiming he stabbed an Israeli soldier.

The shooting comes amid a fresh killing spree of Israeli soldiers shooting dead Palestinians with at least 6 killed since Thursday.

Palestinians dispute Israeli accounts and say most of the shootings were unprovoked.

International human rights groups have slammed Israel for its practice of extrajudicial killings and the Palestinian Foreign Ministry two weeks back asked the US to intervene to pressure Israel to stop.
