Nahoul the bee takes over from Farfour

Militant group Hamas has come up with a replacement character for controversial Mickey Mouse lookalike character who was "killed" in a Jewish conspiracy.

Farfour was the central character on a children's show called Tomorrow's pioneers which airs on the Hamas-affiliated Al Aqsa network.

The black-and-white mouse urged Palestinian children to fight against Israel.

Nahoul the bee will replace the mouse and promises to “continue in the path of Farfour, the path of Islam, of heroism, of martyrdom and of the mujahedeen. … We will take revenge of the enemies of Allah," the bee says during his introduction.

"Farfour was martyred while defending his land," teen presenter Sara said.

In his final episode, Farfour was beaten to death by an actor posing as an Israeli trying to buy his land.
