Manama: Iraq’s oldest person has died at the age of 125, local media reported.
Khliwi Kholkhal was thought to be born in 1887 and has lived through all the political changes that shaped the region in modern times, including the birth of Iraq.
His son told Iraqi media that his father took part in most of the revolutions and uprisings in Iraq’s modern history, including the 1920 anti-British revolution.
