Emirates plane collides with aircraft in Khartoum

Dubai: An Emirates flight, bound for Dubai, was involved in a minor collision with another aircraft while taxiing on the runway at Khartoum international airport on Friday morning.

The flight was cancelled following the incident.

A source from Emirates told Gulf News that the collision happened when the wing of the aircraft hit another plane, while the flight was preparing for take off.

Following the incident, all the passengers were taken off and accommodated in hotels. No one was injured.

Another aircraft has been sent to accommodate them.
