Abu Dhabi: Saudi health authorities have shut down a Riyadh dental clinic affiliated to a well-known medical group following a number of violations including the physical assaultof a member of the inspection team, local media reported.
The Riyadh Health Department said violations included employing unlicensed dentists and nurses, and pretending to be patients to escape inspectors.
The offences also included the absence of a consultant doctor, or a first deputy, and the name of the complex being different from the name issued to it.
The administrative director of the complex also refused to cooperate with the inspection team, claiming he was able to write off the inspection records through his connections.
