Dubai: Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced another 251 new coronavirus cases, and the recovery of 28 cases according to Qatar news agency.
Ministry of Public Health said that the new cases are of opeople that have been in direct contact with earlier positive cases among citizens and residents.
Also the ministry annouced one death of a 42-year-old resident infected with COVID-19 who was suffering from existing chronic diseases.
Qatar has reported 7 virus-related deaths so far, and 275 recoveries.
The MoPH called on citizens and residents under home quarantine to strictly adhere to quarantine procedures and stressed the importance of staying at home and physical distancing to curb the outbreak of coronavirus in Qatar.
