Dubai: Kuwait’s General Department of Criminal Investigation has arrested a Kuwaiti citizen who was publishing videos through his social media account inciting children to commit suicide in various ways, Al Anbaa newspaper reported.
A security source said the agency had received several complaints against the accused, and after following him on social media, it was found that he used to incite children to commit suicide in various ways, including jumping from high places. The accused was referred to the competent authority.
The Ministry of Interior called on parents to report any suspicious practices on the emergency phone line 112 and to monitor the content their children watch through various means of communication.
