Kuwait minister resigns after worker deaths

Manama: Kuwait’s education minister has formally handed in his resignation from the government.

Ahmad Al Mulaifi presented his resignation to Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Sabah on Sunday, local reports said.

The minister has reportedly resigned after two foreign workers died on May 12 in a landslide at the construction site of a university.
