Berlin: Five people have been killed in an early-morning fire at a house in western Germany.
The German news agency DAPD reported that emergency services were alerted to the fire in Unna, near Dortmund, shortly after 4.30 am Friday.
Police said one person was seriously injured and another lightly injured.
They said six people were registered as living in the house but there may also have been guests inside at the time.
