Manila: Police in the Philippines say five construction workers have been killed and six injured when the roof of a mall under construction collapsed.
Police say part of a roof beam and a fire wall at the Gaisano Capital Mall in the country's second-largest city of Cebu came down before dawn Wednesday while 27 workers were inside.
Radio reports say six were injured and rushed to a hospital.
It is not clear what caused the collapse.
