Islamabad: The Prime Minister of Pakistan Kashmir Sardar Yaqub resigned on Wednesday night in the face of a no-trust motion by his rivals in the state's legislative against him, official sources and media reports said.
The 49-member assembly in Muzaffarbad, capital of the state, was due to vote on Thursday on the no-confidence motion tabled by legislators from Muslim Conference party and others.
