Dubai: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has been featured in a list of ‘100 Global Thinkers’ by international Foreign Policy magazine and social media is abuzz with pictures from its print edition.
The complete list will be released on January 22, according to the magazine, but pictures seem to have leaked already of the magazine cover as well as a profile of Khan inside.
Several Twitter users shared the two images, excited about the accomplishment by the Prime Minister and his government.
Tweep @K_Zaidii shared the two images, adding: “That’s my leader, one of the #GlobalThinkers as chosen by Foreign Policy magazine.”
Another Twitter user @SaffinaEllahi1 wrote: “There’s my #MondayMotivation right there! Reputable international journal Foreign Policy includes @ImranKhanPTI in its 2019 Global Thinkers list. #PrimeMinisterImranKhan #PTI”
The list also features Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani, Alibaba founder Jack Ma, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and IMF head Christine Lagarde.
Tweeps also shared a video clip from US Senator Lindsay Graham, who is on a visit to Pakistan. In the clip, Graham said that he would urge US President Donald Trump to meet with the Pakistani Prime Minister and how Khan was correct in pushing for negotiations with the Taliban.
