Mahira Khan’s latest project is a TV commercial where she is seen sharing screen space with Mom star Adnan Siddiqi. It is the two stars’ first appearance together.
The advert shows Khan dressed up as a bride and walking down the aisle, while Siddiqi — with help from the prosthetics and make-up department — plays the dear daddy fairly convincingly.
It is directed by the leading ad filmmaker Asadul Haq whose credits include 2015’s critical and box-office disaster, Dekh Magar Pyar Se, which starred Humaima Malik. Khan’s heavily sequinned outfit is designed by famous fashion designer Ali Xeeshan. And her make-up was done by Omayr Waqar and Mavi Kayani.
