Respect wildlife

He also expressed the hope that while hiking on this trail they would be friendly to the wildlife and avoid throwing trash here and there. "It is our collective duty to respect the wildlife and keep the trail clean", he said.

While talking to Gulf Mews on Monday, IWMB Manager Operations Sakhawat Ali said all the trails were well-kept and properly managed by the IWMB.

Since hikers and visitors are safe here, it is their responsibility to be nice to these trails in Margalla Hills National Park (MHNP).

"They are safe for hiking at any time of the day however, it is advisable to avail hiking facility in the sunlight as sometimes a stray leopard or other wild animal might cross your path especially during the night time", he said.
