Dubai: Pakistan's Tyrion Lannister lookalike is riding the Game of Thrones' wave to stardom, after he made his acting debut in an advertisement for a food delivery service, Cheetay.
The Pakistan-based food delivery company took advantage of the Game of Thrones’ fever by producing a hilarious video littered with references from the fantasy series.
Earlier this year, Rozi Khan became famous in the country for being Peter Dinklage’s doppelganger, who plays Tyrion Lannister in the show.
The ad shows Khan dining at different restaurants and getting bothered by crazed fans, who approach him for picture or autograph requests, while others excitedly make references to the show.
From the cooking counter lit by fire at the start of the clip hinting towards the show's dragon fire scenes, to the classical music, the video is lined throughout with the super hit show’s references.
A chef recites the famous line from the show: “Winter is coming.” Also, the video cleverly is titled ‘Food is coming’.
Another part of the advertisement shows a waiter bringing Khan his bill and saying: “I heard you always pay your debts”, which is a reference to the Lannister House motto: "A Lannister always pays his debts."
Netizens enjoyed the themed video and appreciated Khan’s acting skills.
Twitter user @Ayisha_ posted: “Finally a good ad and the local lookalike is doing a good job for his first acting job Cheetay: Food is coming #KhawariSeAzadi…”
