Police have launched a manhunt for a man accused of killing his wife and two young daughters, aged five and seven, at their Karawal Nagar home in New Delhi on Friday night, NDTV reported.

The victims have been identified as 28-year-old Jayshree and her two daughters. While the exact cause of the brutal act remains unknown, investigators suspect it may be linked to long-standing marital disputes. Neighbours said the couple frequently argued.

“We learnt about the incident at around 6am. When we went inside, we saw the mother and her two daughters lying lifeless on the bed,” a neighbour recalled.

Forensic teams have examined the crime scene and gathered evidence, while the bodies have been sent to GTB Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police have registered a case and are pursuing multiple leads to trace the suspect, who fled after the incident.
