Dubai: Moni Bhosle, also known as ‘Mona Lisa,’ the viral sensation from the Maha Kumbh Mela, is heading to Kerala. On February 14th, she will visit Kozhikode, a city in northern Kerala, to inaugurate a jewellry store owned by businessman Boby Chemmanur. The announcement was made in a video posted by Chemmanur himself, where Moni confirmed her upcoming visit. The video quickly went viral, generating a flood of comments from her ever-growing fanbase.

An overnight sensation

Moni, a 16-year-old garland seller from Indore, became an overnight sensation when her captivating amber eyes and enchanting smile were caught on camera during the Maha Kumbh Mela, the world's largest spiritual gathering. Vloggers flocked to the event in droves to capture a glimpse of her. Her beauty and calm presence mesmerised the crowd, with a video of her interacting confidently with visitors going viral, amassing over 15 million views.

Her striking features — amber eyes, dusky complexion, and long braided hair — led to her being dubbed ‘brown beauty,’ with many comparing her to the iconic Mona Lisa. Moni has also agreed to star in a film, Diary of Manipur, directed by Sanoj Mishra.

However, her newfound fame came at a cost. The overwhelming attention forced her to leave her saleswoman job at the Maha Kumbh Mela and return to her hometown.
