Kolkata: A Royal Bhutan Airlines flight from Paro to Mumbai was forced to make an emergency landing at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport on Sunday after the windscreen of the aircraft cracked during the journey.

After being cleared for emergency landing, the flight touched down safely at the airport at around 9.30am, an airport official said.

Passengers and crew on board the aircraft were safe, they added.
