Thiruvananthapuram: Popular Malayalam movie actor, singer and director Vineet Sreenivasan wed his long-time sweetheart Divya, in Kannur Thursday.
The wedding was held in Kannur apparently because most of the relatives of the bride and groom were from Kannur.
Vineet and Divya had met each other during their professional education in Chennai. They were both involved in the activities of the music club at the college.
Vineet has directed popular Malayalam movies Malarvadi Arts Club and Thattathin Marayathu.
Vineet, who is the son of well-known Malayalam actor Sreenivasan, belongs to Thalassery, and Divya’s father Narayanan hails from Payyannur. Narayanan and his wife have settled in Chennai.
Several celebrities attended the wedding, including director Lal Jose, and actors Jagadish, Sudhish and Samvrata Sunil.
