An Indian pilot’s father was allegedly beaten and urinated on by his wife’s father due to their love marriage that he disapproved of.
The woman’s father, identified as Bansal Lal, allegedly stopped the victim, Yograj, along with group of men while he was on his way to his factory, desiblitz.com, a British news website, reported.
Allegedly, Yograj was on his way to work when Lal, Ashish Gupta and Vinod stopped their car in front of his.
The incident occured in Khursipar, Chhattisgarh.
He was then allegedly beaten and had his clothes ripped, before getting driven to an isolated area where they assaulted him again.
According to Yograj’s nephew, also fed him faeces and urinated on his face and consumed it.
They then covered the man’s face in soot before escaping and leaving Yograj injured.
He managed to return home and informed his family who then went with him to the police station, the report stated.
However, Yograj claimed that a case was not immediately registered upon his complaint.
Reportedly, Lal was enraged that his daughter had a love marriage with Yograj’s son who has been identified as Mamera Ankit.
Ankit is a pilot in the Indian Air Force and is currently posted in Gwalior, in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
On October 10, Ankit eloped with Bansal’s daughter and got married. When Bansal found out, he became infuriated and decided to take revenge.
Both the suspect and the victim owned factories which are nearby.
According to desiblitz.com, police said that an investigation will take place in order to prove Yograj’s claims.
The case was transferred to the police in the city of Raipur.
