A woman from Rajasthan, India has alleged that she got gang-raped by her father-in-law and his brother, while her husband divorced her by uttering ‘talaq’ thrice.

According to an FIR registered at the women police station of Bhiwadi city on Monday, November 25, the woman claimed that last Friday, November 22, she was given triple ‘talaq’ by her husband.

According to a report by India Today, on the day she was divorced, she objected to her husband’s action. As a result, her father-in-law and his brother allegedly raped her while her brother-in-law beat her up, the police said.

"The husband has been booked for giving triple talaq, brother-in-law for beating her, the father-in-law and the other relative for gang-rape. The investigation into the matter is on," police officials were quoted as saying,

Police also said that no arrests have been made so far.
