New Delhi: A 45-year-old Delhi Police constable was critically injured after being hit by a car allegedly driven by a drunk man early on Saturday.

The incident took place at around 12.45am in east Delhi’s Pandav Nagar area when constable Raghunandan and his two colleagues were manning a police picket, a police officer said.

Raghunandan was admitted to a hospital in a critical condition, the officer said, adding car driver Sidhant Kashyap was caught and his vehicle confiscated.
