The incident followed heavy rainfall, which caused a sudden rise in water levels
In a gripping rescue operation in Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir, a young boy and a bull found themselves trapped on a tiny island in the middle of a raging river. Heavy rains had swollen the waters, turning the usually calm river into a perilous torrent. Clinging to a small patch of land surrounded by powerful currents, the boy and the animal faced imminent danger.
The moment the distress call came in, the Indian Army joined forces with local authorities and disaster response teams to mount a swift and coordinated rescue mission. Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma emphasised the urgency, assuring the public that every possible measure was in place to secure their safety.
As rescuers navigated the turbulent waters, the community held its breath. The boy’s courage and the team’s determination became a symbol of hope amid the chaos. Thanks to their relentless efforts, both the boy and the bull were safely brought to shore, unharmed.
