New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force's (CISF) quick reaction team played a crucial role in stabilising a passenger who suffered a cardiac arrest at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport, officials said on Thursday.

According to officials, a passenger, identified as Arshid Ayoub, who was bound for a Srinagar flight from Terminal 2 of IGI Airport, collapsed due to a cardiac arrest.

A quick response team member immediately performed CPR, which was instrumental in stabilizing the passenger's condition.
