Bogota, Colombia: Colombia's president says a top leftist rebel leader who oversees major cocaine production may have been killed in the bombing of a guerrilla camp in the country's southern jungles.
President Juan Manuel Santos says Fabian Ramirez's pistols, rucksack and computers were found at the scene of Saturday's pre-dawn bombing.
Defence Minister Rodrigo Rivera says at least six bodies had been found.
The 47-year-old Ramirez is one of some 20 members of the general staff of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. His given name is Jose Benito Cabrera.
The US has a $2.5 million reward out for his capture. It says he is responsible for more than 1,000 tonnes of cocaine production.
