UFC Gym announce launch of regionwide jiu-jitsu programme

Dubai: UFC Gym Middle East announced the launch of a regionwide jiu-jitsu programme at their Business Bay branch on Thursday. They also announced that they are now one of three private gyms in the UAE to be authorised by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation to compete in local competitions, and that they would be selecting five underprivileged but deserving kids aged 7-9 from the region to participate in the youth jiu-jitsu programme. Present at the announcement was Mauricio Mariano, senior director of the UFC Gym global jiu-jitsu programme, Ghazi Sebil Al Madani, acting director of the sports event department at Dubai Sports Council, and Hamad Al Sayer, chief executive officer of UFC Gym Middle East.
