Dubai: Could a Filipino in the UAE win the Philippine beauty title Man of the Philippines?
The national pageant is opening doors to the UAE's most eligible Filipino bachelors to compete in the grand finals in Manila on December 1.
Man of the Philippines organisers are bringing the pageant to Dubai this year, with the winner of Man of the Philippines-Dubai to represent the Filipino community in the UAE.
Screenings for single Filipino expats aged 20 to 30 will be held in Dubai on July 13 and 27.
Finalists will compete in a pre-pageant competition on September 14 and move on to the finals on September 28.
The winner will then be flown in an all-expense paid trip to Manila where 60 candidates from around the Philippines will be competing for the international titles National Universe, Man International and Man of the Universe, as well as four national titles.
Cash prizes total P200,000, with Asia tours for two international title holders and a US tour for the grand title holder. The winning candidates’ charity of choice or advocacies will also be funded.
Casting call
Qualifications: Filipino citizen, single, 20-30 years old, at least 5’8” height and able to travel to the Philippines for the national pageant on December 1.
