The Symbiosis Medical Centre has opened its doors at the technology park in Dubai’s Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated free zone technology park.

The opening ceremony included a guided tour of the facility for the guests who included Dr Mohammad Al Zarouni, vice-chairman and CEO of Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, Dr Syed Atiq Hussain Naqvi, CEO, medical director, and Dr Riffat Khan, executive director of Symbiosis Medical Centre as well as other officials.

“The opening of the Symbiosis Medical Centre comes as part of our obligation to ensure the delivery of services that meet the needs of residents as well as those working out of the free zone,” Al Zarouni said.

Dr Naqvi, said: “Dubai Silicon Oasis is a vibrant community with about 30,000 residents which presented us with an opportunity to establish the Symbiosis Medical Centre. We are delighted with the support extended to us by DSO towards setting up the centre and assure the delivery of quality patient care that prioritises clinical excellence, safety and a matchless passion for those we serve.”

Services provided by the clinic which promises holistic health-care include general practice, family medicine, paediatrics, dentistry and orthodontics, general surgery, gastroenterology, and dermatology. They also include physiotherapy, ENT, head and neck, psychiatry and counselling, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, gynaecology and obstetrics, pain management clinics, cardiology, radiology and nutrition.

Asif Khan, managing director of the Symbiosis Medical Centre, highlighted the importance of the location and the need for a clinic in the area. “The opening of a local clinic in Cedre Village is very useful for the residents in DSO,” he said, adding that it is run by specialised and qualified medical experts from the UK.
