Abu Dhabi: An eight-year-old Jordanian has been diagnosed with the coronavirus, the Abu Dhabi health officials have announced.
The child is the son of a 38-year-old Jordanian who was recently admitted to hospital suffering from the virus.
The authority pointed out that the child is showing mild symptoms, and is currently being held in quarantine with regular check-ups being carried out.
The Health Authority, Abu Dhabi reaffirmed that it is coordinating with the Ministry of Health and other health authorities in the UAE to take precautionary measures specified by the World Health Organisation.
