Abu Dhabi: The UAE has strongly condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state on Saudi territory, calling them “unacceptable and provocative.”

The UAE reaffirmed its categorical rejection of such statements, describing them as a “blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.”

Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar expressed the UAE’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, stressing that the country stands firmly by the Kingdom against any threats to its security, stability, and sovereignty.

He stated that Saudi sovereignty is a “red line” and that the UAE “will not allow any party to overstep or infringe upon it.”

Al Marar also reiterated the UAE’s firm rejection of any infringement on the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people or attempts to displace them.

He called for an immediate halt to settlement activities, warning that such actions threaten regional stability and undermine prospects for peace and coexistence.

He urged the international community, the United Nations, and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities and put an end to illegal practices that contravene international law.

The minister reaffirmed the UAE’s longstanding commitment to upholding Palestinian rights and emphasized the need for a serious political horizon leading to a resolution of the conflict and the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state.

He stressed that regional stability can only be achieved through a two-state solution.
