Abu Dhabi Police, in collaboration with First Abu Dhabi Bank, carried out the “Cool Their Summer” initiative for workers at construction sites in Al Ain City. The initiative included distributing water, sunglasses, and sunscreen, in coordination with the Labor Affairs Branch at the Al Ain Police Directorate.

Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Abdullah Al Saadi, Head of the Security Media Department, emphasized Abu Dhabi Police’s ongoing commitment to supporting workers and recognizing their efforts and contributions to the nation’s development. He noted that the initiative reflects the values of positivity and aligns with Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy aimed at bringing happiness to all segments of society. It also embodies the principles of solidarity and social cohesion. He praised the cooperation with strategic partners in implementing the initiative, highlighting the importance of supporting workers, particularly those in outdoor areas, during the high summer temperatures, as a humanitarian duty.

Marwa Al Rahma, Head of Community Initiatives at First Abu Dhabi Bank, reaffirmed the bank’s dedication to working alongside Abu Dhabi Police and various government partners in implementing humanitarian initiatives aimed at improving workers’ well-being. She emphasized that workers are a vital part of the production process and active contributors to the country’s development. The UAE, she noted, hosts diverse cultures grounded in values of tolerance and compassion. She also commended the essential role of workers in the community and their contributions to the ongoing development across various sectors in the UAE.
