Umm Al Quwain: An Arab man drowned on Tuesday evening at Umm Al Quwain beach, Gulf News has learnt. The victim, a Sudanese national, was swimming with friends when the incident occurred at Al Bait Metwahid. After massive search bye resuce units, body of the victim was found in Al Himryah area of Sharjah on Wednesday
Authorities in Umm Al Quwain have urged the public to avoid entering the sea during high tide and adverse weather conditions. They also reminded people to follow safety guidelines and heed warning signs to prevent further accidents.
