Two killed in road accident in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah: A collision between a heavy vehicle and a pickup truck in the Al Halilah area on Friday killed an Egyptian and a Nepali, police said.

A senior police officer at the RAK Traffic and Licensing Department said that the 26-year-old Egyptian A.M. and the 45-year-old Nepali P.A. were killed on the spot.

A Sri Lankan is in hospital and is in critical condition after the accident, doctors said.

The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
