Sharjah: Sharjah: The body of an Emirati man reported missing was found by police divers in sea off Sharjah on Sunday afternoon. The body was found to be stuck between rocks, a Sharjah Police official told Gulf News.

Earlier the rescue team managed to save a colleague of the 20-year-old Emirati man Sunday, the official said.

Rescue boats canvassed the Al Hamryiah beach in search of the lost man, identify as M.E.A.R., following the accident on Saturday night.

Police were called when two Emirati men got into trouble in the water following a jet ski accident. One man was rescued from the sea and taken to hospital where his condition was described as critical.

Police ordered swimmers out of the water as they began a search for the missing man. The police air wing also participated in the search mission as relatives of the lost man gathered on the shore and prayed for him to be found.
