Raveena Tandon is one of the most popular Bollywood actresses of the 1990s. She made her debut in Pathar Ke Phool, which won her the Filmfare Best Debutant Actress Award.

However, after almost being written off as a failed actress, she came up with hits such as Dilwale, Mohra and Ziddi. But her career again took a beating with speculation she was quitting films to get married to actor Akshay Kumar.

However, once she broke up with Kumar, she made a comeback and successfully teamed up with Govinda in many comic capers such as Dulhe Raja and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Her career reached its peak when she delivered award-winning performances in Daman and Aks and followed them up with an acclaimed act in Satta.

Tandon is married to film distributor Anil Thadani and has two kids. She is back in the limelight as a judge on the kids' reality show Chak De Bachche and will be donning a similar role in another reality show, Chak De Shaher Di Kudiya Gali Ke Goonde.

Favourite holiday destination: London

I fell in love with London the first time I visited the bustling city. It is one of most cosmopolitan cities in the world and is always alive, no matter what time of the year it is.

Besides the climate and the famous landmarks, I think the people are really amazing. Of course, one of the reasons I love London is that I get to shop at the best stores.

It is the place to party and have a great holiday with family and friends.

Memorable moments in London

I have had some great times in London but my first visit to city with my husband is definitely special.

What not to do in London

Plan to stay indoors. You can enjoy London the most in outdoor activities.

Three must-haves on a holiday

My mobile, a make-up kit, a perfume and cash.

Any other favourite destination?

I enjoy visiting Switzerland because it has some amazing landscapes and picture-perfect locations. The snow, the mountains, the greenery and the clean environment draw me to this country.
