When the Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur resort opens on June 15, it will be home to the city’s highest rooftop bar, Vertigo, which will serve up a great night out and a vantage point to soak in the Kuala Lumpur skyline. The venue will be located on the 59th floor of the Banyan Tree Signatures Pavilion Kuala Lumpur – an existing mixed-use complex housing a mall and swanky residences; the hotel will occupy the building’s top seven floors. Stunning views also pervade the hotel’s 55 rooms and will woo guests with more than sprawling vistas of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers – they’ll be stocked with aromatherapy essentials and chromotherapy showers, and the suites come with their own private relaxation pools. It is, after all, the first Banyan Tree property in Malaysia.

Apart from Vertigo, three other dining venues round off F&B offerings – a French bakery, an afternoon tea lounge on the 53rd floor and Horizon Grill, a steakhouse. Designed to meet the urban traveller’s needs, there will be boardrooms, an open-air pool, a state-of-the-art gym and a spa. Visit banyantree.com.
