Australia is the perfect holiday place

Aftab Shivdasani started his career as a baby boy in Farex and Cerelac ads before graduating as a child artiste and featuring in blockbusters such as Mr India, Shahenshah and Chaalbaaz.

He came into his own as a leading actor with Ram Gopal Varma's Mast and tasted commercial success with Kasoor, Awara Paagal Deewana, Hungama and Masti.

Irrespective of his films, this dashing six-footer has always enticed his fans with his charming looks that allowed him to sail through his rough periods. Here's his take on his favourite holiday spot.

Favourite holiday destination: Australia
Australia has everything to offer you — great weather, nature spots, lovely and secluded beaches, great restaurants with a variety of foods, fantastic nightlife and an ever-bustling city atmosphere. I think Australia is just the perfect holiday place I can ask for.

Memorable moments in Australia
I think being in the vicinity of Sydney Harbour (below) and just admiring the scenic beauty around that place gives a very refreshing feeling.

What not to do in Australia
Do not go on a short break to this country. You need a long vacation to cover most of the beautiful parts and tourist attractions to make the trip to this lovely continent worthwhile.

Three must-haves on a holiday
My iPod along with my cellphone and watch are a must whenever I am away from home.

Any other favourite destination?
The United States, as I have my family over there and, moreover, in that country you get access to the latest technology that keeps you up to date.
